Your Journey Starts Here
Six intentional steps to help you grow in faith, connect in community, and find your place at Peaceful Zion.
Join us for Sunday worship and introduce yourself to our Welcome Team. We'll make sure you feel at home from the moment you walk through the door.
Attend our New Member Orientation class — available in-person and via Zoom. Learn about our church history, beliefs, structure, and how to get connected.
If you haven't been baptized as a believer, we'll walk you through what the Bible says about salvation and baptism by immersion.
Discover your spiritual gifts and find a ministry or auxiliary where you can serve, grow, and make a difference in the church and community.
Be paired with a mature believer who will walk alongside you, answer questions, pray with you, and help you grow in your faith journey.
Our pastoral team will follow up with you personally to ensure you are connected, growing, and thriving as part of the Peaceful Zion family.
The Foundation
At Peaceful Zion, we believe that salvation is a free gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ — His death, burial, and resurrection for our sins. It cannot be earned; it can only be received.
How to be saved: Acknowledge that you are a sinner in need of God's grace. Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose from the dead. Confess Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life (Romans 10:9-10).
Baptism: We practice believer's baptism by immersion — a public declaration of your faith in Christ and your identification with His death, burial, and resurrection. Baptism does not save you; it is an outward sign of an inward transformation.
